What Android phone should I get?

As opposed to the iPhone 4 which you can get it in any color as long as its black - Android has real choice.

Android allows you to choose the mobile provider that is best for you combined with the phone that fits your personal needs.

Its important to select a high end Android phone, especially if graduating directly from an iPhone, as I provide my recommendations below.

AT&T - Motorola Atrix 4G

T-Mobile - Samsung Nexus S

Sprint - Samsung Epic 4G or HTC Evo 4G

Verizon - Droid Bionic or HTC Thunderbolt

What Android Applications should I download?

Android has a free market approach instead of tying you down to an App Store or its Android Market you are free to get applications from alternative sources.

These other sources include GetJar & SlideMe for example, but the applications I recommend everyone should get include:
